participate in a professional development training program in Australia after being invited to do so (Professional Development stream)
This visa involves a three stage process:
Sponsorship – an organisation applies to become a training and research sponsor
Nomination – the training and research sponsor nominates you to undertake training (Occupational Trainee stream only)
Visa – you apply for the Training visa (subclass 407)
